MAN WAI CHOW is a small Hong Kong shop for the objects that sit between a person and a working day: the mouse under the hand, the mat under the wrist, the scale on the kitchen counter, the lamp on the bedside table. The catalogue is deliberately short — five shelves of five — because a short list is easier to check than a long one.
Everything is opened, set up and used before it is listed. Kitchen scales are compared against a 500 g calibration weight, mice are used for a week of spreadsheets and late editing, stands are loaded with a 16-inch laptop on a tilted desk, and lamps are left on overnight to see how warm the housing gets. Anything that fails is removed rather than discounted.
Orders are packed in Fanling and dispatched within one to two business days with tracking. Every item carries a twelve-month warranty against manufacturing faults, and returns are accepted within thirty days of delivery. Email or call and you reach the person who packed the order, normally within one business day.
